Amber® Press – Lithium Disilicate Press Ingot for Dental Laboratories
Amber® Press is a premium lithium disilicate press ingot designed for professional dental laboratories. This pressable lithium disilicate glass-ceramic provides high mechanical strength, minimal reaction layer, and outstanding esthetics, making it ideal for high-quality dental ceramic restorations.
- Premium lithium disilicate pressable ceramic ingot
- Approx. 460 MPa biaxial flexural strength after crystallization
- Very low reaction layer – no acid cleaning required
- Three translucency levels (HT, LT, MO) and 40+ shades
- Compatible with popular veneering ceramics for lithium disilicate
- Indicated for inlays, onlays, veneers, crowns, and 3-unit bridges
Superior Strength & Durability
After crystallization, Amber® Press reaches a biaxial flexural strength of approximately 460 MPa, delivering long-term durability and reliable performance in both anterior and posterior regions. This makes Amber® Press an excellent choice for demanding esthetic and functional dental restorations.
Simple, Clean and Safe Workflow
Amber® Press forms a very thin reaction layer after pressing. There is no need for aggressive acid cleaning, which:
- Reduces hazardous steps in the dental laboratory
- Saves time in post-pressing cleaning and divesting
- Supports a safer and more efficient dental lab workflow
Aesthetic Results with Amber® Press
With natural translucency and a wide shade selection, Amber® Press helps create highly esthetic, natural-looking dental restorations. It is suitable for staining, cut-back, and full layering techniques, allowing the technician to match surrounding dentition and patient expectations.
Indications
Amber® Press is indicated for a wide range of lithium disilicate restorations:
- Inlays
- Onlays
- Veneers
- Anterior single crowns
- Posterior single crowns
- 3-unit bridges (up to the second premolar)

Compatibility with Veneering Ceramics
Amber® Press ingots are compatible with various veneering ceramics for lithium disilicate dental restorations:
For HT & LT (Staining / Cut-back)
- IPS e.max® Ceram (Ivoclar Vivadent)
- Initial LiSi® (GC)
- VINTAGE® LD Porcelain (Shofu)
- InSync® (Jensen)
- Initial Zr-FS® (GC) **
- Creation Zi-F® (Creation Willi Geller) **
For MO (Layering)
MO ingots are intended for full layering techniques with the above veneering porcelains, giving ceramists maximum control over internal effects and texture.
