Mechanical Strength
Amber® Press Master demonstrates significantly higher fatigue resistance than conventional LD ceramics, as shown in the S-N fatigue curve below.
| S-N Fatigue Test Result | Performance |
|---|---|
| 0–5,000,000 cycles | Amber® Press Master maintains higher stress endurance compared to conventional LD ceramics |
| Testing Load | Load 2–800 N, 10 Hz |
Highly Dense Microstructure
Amber® Press Master shows approximately twice smaller LD crystalline size and higher density than conventional lithium disilicate, providing:
- Higher toughness and ductility
- Superior crack deflection
- Improved mechanical reliability
Excellent Esthetics
Low Reaction Layer
Amber® Press Master produces a very minimal reaction layer after pressing—no acid cleaning needed. This simplifies the workflow and increases safety.
Natural Fluorescence
| Material | Fluorescence |
|---|---|
| Competitor MO 0 | Low |
| Amber® Press Master LO 0 | High – Natural fluorescence |
| Competitor HT A1 | Moderate |
| Amber® Press Master HT+ 0.5 | Superior natural fluorescence |
Thermal Stability
Amber® Press Master exhibits excellent framework stability during multiple firing cycles thanks to its high glass transition temperature (Tg): 577°C.
| Material | Tg (°C) | Multiple Firing Stability |
